What it does
SmartPantry suggests recipes from the food a user has left, with a browser interface and a backend that validates model inputs and outputs.
My contribution
I built the full-stack application with a course project team, spanning the React and TypeScript frontend, Flask backend and Firebase persistence.
Technical highlight
Gemini responses pass through strict input validation and structured output checks. Firebase Authentication and Firestore provide account and recipe persistence.
Results and status
The backend reached 76.3% pytest coverage with a CI-ready test suite. It was a completed Fall 2025 course project.
